How do we do it

WOO is a clothing and accessories brand with roots in the world of fishing and a Scandinavian urban lifestyle mood.
From this union of distant worlds an independent and proud brand is born, like the women of RAITEX, the family company
manufacturing, all female on which Woo is based.

Raitex's thirty-year experience, the only heat-welding company in Italy, represents a guarantee of quality and precision.

Human capital and its human resources are at the center of WOO's policies

In the Salento factory, near Mesagne, Rita, Genoveffa and Mary are responsible for producing zero kilometer garments, in which
every fabric scrap is reused to create accessories and significantly reduce the amount of waste.

Circular Economy

REFUSAL AS A RESOURCE/NUTRITION

UPCYCLING PRE-CONSUMER

Overproduction and excessive consumption are the big problems in the fast-fashion industry and there
We promise to do our best to solve the problem. We believe that as a fashion brand we have a responsibility to produce less and invite consumers to buy less and buy better.

For the philosophy of the brand it is essential to reduce waste to a minimum, which is why in addition to the line of raincoats, the line of accessories was created, in order to make the most of the fabric scraps that remain from the manufacturing of raincoats; a large part of the waste is reused; the key word is NO WASTE or pre-consumer upcycling.

Used fabric scraps are used to make a garment, therefore a fabric that has not yet passed through the hands of the consumer.

Social Responsibility

Make your business activity a means through which you can simultaneously create value, allocating part of your economic proceeds to non-profit initiatives.

I EXIST BECAUSE YOU EXIST AND VICE VERSA.

Giulia, founder of Woo, spent a few months of her life in Kenya to write her degree thesis.

During this trip he met women forced to live in slums. The project he wants to support talks about the creation of Villaggio Kijiji.

Kijiji village is a dream that once realized will allow 15 families from Korogocho to have sustainable homes outside Nairobi,
thanks to the Huipalas association.

The devastating effects of pollution and global warming have made the impact that human beings have on the surrounding environment extremely topical.
Through this project Woo together with Huipalas, the association
with whom we collaborate, seeks to promote the achievement of
objectives such as: poverty reduction, housing sustainability and
instructions for women in Kenya.

This is why every year we actively contribute to this cause!

The 'Package from Below'

“Download Pack” is a real survival kit that you can't live without. It's a kind of life preserver in the open sea that lifts you up when you're about to drown
in the sea far from home. And its recipients know exactly what we are talking about.
One tarallo leads to another.

Hundreds of boxes arrive in our company every day, and it really seems like a waste to us
incredible to throw them away, which is why we have started to reuse everything that comes to us, boxes - packaging materials and paper also and above all for your
orders.

  • All the packaging material for our parcels is made up of already used disposable paper that we shred and thus becomes the perfect packaging material.
  • Alternatively biodegradable bags
  • If you happen to find plastic packaging material it is because we have reused it somewhere
    another package
